Tour 2023 - Turkey

After a successful return to Turkey in 2022, we decided to return once again in 2023 & stay at The Gloria Golf hotel. The hotel proved to be first class & it was agreed that the food was the best we had received on any previous tour. The party comprised of 12 tourists, with "Big Steve" returning to the fold after a couple of years away. We were playing 4 new courses this year & all were presented in excellent condition. We were unfortunate to be caught in a thunderstorm on the first day at Gloria New, which necessitated in a swift retreat from the course, when lightening was overhead. The rest of the week was sunny, around 23 degrees with little wind so overall excellent playing conditions. After some indifferent golf during the early part of the week our Tour Pro came through to win the overall by 2 points, shooting a magnificent 5 under par gross on the last day at Pasha. As usual the golf was competitive and a fun time was had by all in attendance.
