Tour 2007 - Portugal

After a pretty horrendous last trip to Spain in 2005, with rounds of golf taking in excess of 5 hours and course becoming pretty tired with all the traffic, it was decided to try Portugal, and what a success this was.

Our hotel was the 5 star Dona Filipa which provided excellent accommodation and discounted green fees on one of the golf courses. Unfortunately, the hotel was some distance away from the hub of Vilamoura and this resulted in the need to drive to and from excellent local restaurants around Vilamoura harbour every evening.

This is the tour where the 'laptop' first appeared (as opposed to Stockers "Fag Packet") and the dreaded Eclectic reared its head for the first time!!
